Organization

With the diversity of its research interests, the laboratory has been subdivided into two main clusters; namely, the 'High-Tc Superconductors' Group and the 'Semiconductors' Group, supervised by Dr. Roland Sarmago and Dr. Arnel Salvador, respectively. They are complemented by 19 graduate students in Physics and Materials Science and Engineering and 11 undergraduate students of Physics and Applied Physics.

At the moment, there are 12 undergraduate students undergoing apprenticeship at the laboratory. Their membership in the laboratory is pending subject to their evaluation after the apprenticeship period of 1 year. Four of these apprentices are up for membership at the end of the first semester of this school year.
